There’s no doubt that Bing is here…and it’s here in a big way.  Microsoft’s new “decision engine” was launched with a multi-million dollar advertising campaign, and it’s even managed to unseat Yahoo in the number two slot in the search engine wars.

Google Goes Semantic with Tweaks to Search Results

Big Publishers Want Google’s Algorithm to Favor Brands

There is an Ad Age story circulating today that tells of the grumblings of larger, mainstream publishers and the way their ranking is handled by Google.
The article does anything but stay unbiased and the tone is surprisingly direct, at one point referring to Google’s organic search results as an “undifferentiated slush of results”.

Yahoo Updates Search Algorithm

Yahoo just made some changes to their index with brand new web data and an update to its crawling, indexing, and ranking algorithms.
