Firefox 3.5: 1.5 Million Downloads and Counting

On Tuesday morning, Mozilla released Firefox 3.5 to the world.  The new version is literally flying off the shelves.
So far, Mozilla’s servers are holding up fairly well, even as the total downloads cross the 1.6 million mark and counting.
Amazingly, at one point, downloads were approaching 100 per second!

Firefox 3.5 Release Date: June 30, 2009

When is the Firefox 3.5 release date?  Today!
Mozilla is set to release Firefox 3.5 some time Tuesday morning.
“The Mozilla team is mobilizing to ship Firefox 3.5 and it’s looking like Tuesday morning,” a Mozilla spokeswoman has said.
Tuesday’s unveiling will come after several Firefox 3.5 release candidates within the past three weeks.

Firefox 3.0.9 Fixes 12 Security Problems

Alert: Firefox Security Warning

PC World is reporting on a new vulnerability in Mozilla’s Firefox browser.
