Kimberly Munley, a civilian police officer who confronted and then gunman in Thursday’s horrific Fort Hood shooting, is today being lauded as a hero.
The top commander at the base, Lieutenant General Bob Cone, gives Munley credit for stopping the deadly rampage that killed 13 people even though she was wounded herself.
