Newspapers may be suffering, but Craigslist is booming.
The classified ad website is on pace to rake in over $100 million in revenue this year, according to a new study from Classified Intelligence Report, a publication of AIM Group.

A Pennsylvania newspaper is in some hot water today, having accidentally run a classified ad calling for President Barack Obama’s assassination.
Warren Times Observer Publisher John Elchert says the ad appeared in the paper on Thursday.   It read, “May Obama follow in the steps of Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley and Kennedy!”

eBay will be gradually changing the name of Kijiji, its classified ads site, to “eBay Classifieds”.
In an e-mail that went out today, eBay says it decided to change the name because it “just seemed like a good idea.”
Maybe it’s because “Kijiji” is about as catchy as “Houshmandzadeh”.
