Yahoo Begins New Round of Layoffs

Sources indicate that a fresh round of 700 layoffs have begun over at Yahoo.
New CEO Carol Bartz had indicated this round of layoffs was coming.  In fact, the actual number seems to be around 600 people affected.

Bartz Resurrects Yahoo Newspaper Ads

Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz is beginning the process of revamping of a 2006 advertising agreement with a select group of newspapers.

Yahoo Names Bartz as CEO, Tells “Experts” to Take a Hike
