On Sunday, the United States officially declared a public health emergency as the Swine Flu outbreak continues to spread.
Homeland Security's Janet Napolitano held a press conference on Sunday saying that citizens should remain calm but prepared.
Dr. Richard Besser of the CDC added that they were aggressively trying to contain the virus.
“I would expect over time we’re going to see more severe disease in this country,” Dr. Besser added.
There have now been 20 cases of Swine Flu confirmed in the United States. Of those, only one person has been hospitalized thus far.
