Marilyn Manson has contracted the Swine Flu. The hard rocker has officially been diagnosed with the H1N1 virus, although his isn’t a life-threatening case and he should make a full recovery.
He’s taking it all in stride, writing on his MySpace Celebrity blog: “So I have officially been diagnosed, by a real doctor, with THE SWINE FLU.”
“I know everyone will suggest that f—ing a pig is how this disease was obtained. However, the doctor said my past choices in women have in no way contributed to me acquiring this mysterious sickness. Unfortunately, I am going to survive. M”
There has been a rash of celebrity cases of H1N1 flu of late, including “Harry Potter” actor Rupert Grint, Kasabian singer Tom Meighan, and his bandmates guitarist Serge Pizzorno, bassist Chris Edwards and drummer Ian Matthews.
