How hot is it? Well, in the state of Wisconsin, the heat wave caused a piece of the highway to buckle.
When one woman stopped to take photos of the damage, she accidentally managed to catch video footage of an SUV trying to pass over the buckled stretch of road.
That SUV wound up going airborne.
Theresa Reich told Milwaukee’s WISN that she was unaware that her phone was taking video when the SUV took flight.
“You don’t normally see that stuff in real life,” Reich said.
Luckily, everyone in the SUV was OK.
