Susan Boyle Sings into Mop at Airport, Has Meltdown

It appears that perhaps Susan Boyle isn’t taking her happy pills these days.

The frumpy Britain’s Got Talent reality superstar shocked a bunch of passengers who were waiting in a VIP lounge at London’s Heathrow Airport by shouting obscenities and singing into a mop. Yes, a mop.

Boyle reportedly grabbed the mop from a worker at the airport and went off the deep end. She even used it to polish the shoes of some of the passengers.

When airport employees gave her a warning and tried to calm her, Boyle took off shouting, “I’ve escaped! I’ve escaped!”

One source tells The Sun:

“It was chaos. Susan was very restless and agitated from the minute she walked in and immediately started making a scene.

“She was singing and dancing around, shouting obscenities at full volume.”

Her impromptu performance sparked complaints to British Airways staff. She finally settled down when a airline employee agreed to sit with her until she boarded her flight to Chicago.

Boyle was heading to the U.S. to appear as a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Susan is no stranger to meltdowns. She blew a gasket last May at the Wembley Plaza Hotel in London and police had to be called to settle the singer down.
