Natalie White has been declared the Survivor Samoa winner.

The ex-pharmaceutical sales rep from Alaska snagged the  $1 million prize after beating Russell Hantz and Mick Trimming in Sunday night’s final episode.

After her victory, White said, “It’s about having no regrets. You’ve got to take a big risk to get a big return.

“I had to quit my job to do it. So I gave up a wonderful job – not just a wonderful job, but one that I loved so much. There was a lot at risk for me.”

Last night’s final chapter of the show started with the last four members of the Foa Foa tribe knocking off their own teammate, Jaison Robinson, after the sole Galu, Brett Clouser, got immunity.

He was the next to be sent packing, however, once Hantz beat him in the night’s second immunity challenge. The last three then consisted of Hantz, Trimming and White.  They were told to tell the jury why they thought they should be crowned the winner.

In the live segment of the show, Jeff Probst read seven of the jury votes aloud. White got five of the votes and Hantz took the other two.

“I feel like I played the best strategic game in history,” he said. “And I’m not the only one who thinks that. I can guarantee you millions of people think that.”

Hantz didn’t go home empty-handed, however, as he was handed a $100,000 prize after being named the fans’ favorite player of the season.
