Former Miss Teen USA Stormi Henley made the cut and went through to Hollywood on American Idol last night, but it was a split decision.
Henley sang “Father Can You Hear Me” for the judges at the auditions in Nashville, and Steven Tyler thought her voice was strong, although a bit restrained. Jennifer Lopez begged to differ, saying she didn’t think Henley had what it takes to be an “idol”. It all came down to Randy Jackson, who decided to put her through.
Henley won the Miss Tennessee Teen USA 2009 title on October 5, 2008 after competing in the pageant for the first time.
Check out her audition below.
