Stig Severinsen has broken his own record.
He previously held the Guinness World Record for holding his breath after doing so for 20 minutes and 10 seconds. Now, he’s done it for a whopping 22 minutes!
Severinsen is a world champion free-diver and breathing expert.
For the past ten years or so, he’s been experimenting with different techniques of breath-hold to study their effects on the body and mind.
He has even penned a book called “Breatheology: The Art of Conscious Breathing.”
