If content is king, video is emperor supreme. Video gets your users engaged.
Stickam, a live video-streaming service along the lines of Justin.tv and Ustream.tv, is releasing a new API that will allow you to build your own streaming video startup with very little effort. CEO Steven Fruchter says that live video is extremely engaging. Stickam’s site is reporting an average 18-minute stay-time for new users to the site, and 70 minutes for those that are already logged-in.
