Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler is apparently pretty upset that some anonymous bloggers are trying to impersonate him on the web.  Really, it happens all the time.  It happened to Kanye West not that long ago.

Tyler tried to sue several bloggers whom he claims were trying to impersonate him, according to NBC Los Angeles.  They were sharing private facts and even using his likeness on their sites.

The problem is, though, that the bloggers truly were “anonymous.”  So much so that they didn’t bother to show up to court because, well, they may not have even known that they were supposed to BE in court.

Ergo, the judge dismissed the case.

Seems Steven was especially irked that the impersonators were posting comments about his mother, who passed away in 2008.

It also seems that this “fake Steven Tyler” is somewhat legendary in the gaming world.  He’s got his own Facebook page and his own entry on Wikipedia.

I’d say the REAL Steven Tyler has his work cut out for him.

Oh, and here’s a video clip featuring “fake Steven Tyler”…
