Stephen Baldwin has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in the state of New York. Court documents reveal that the actor has in excess of $2.3 million in debt and a mere $1.1 million in assets.
The 43-year-old Baldwin owes around $1.2 million on two unpaid mortgages on his property in New York and over $1.1 million in back taxes. He also has loads of credit card debt. His wife, Kennya Baldwin, is named in the bankruptcy documents as well.
Stephen Baldwin’s last known gig was when he was on the reality TV show “I’m a celebrity… get me outta here!” but he had to leave the show after complications from insect bites required hospital treatments. It seems that job didn’t produce enough cash to keep his debtors at bay.
