A 17-year-old male is now being held in New York City in connection with the May 25th bombing of a Starbucks on the city’s Upper East Side.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly issued a statement alerting the media that Kyle Shaw was arrested on Tuesday night in his Manhattan apartment after police discovered that the boy genius was bragging to friends that he was the party responsible for placing a bomb outside of the coffee shop in May.

Shaw was bragging to friends that “Project Mayhem” was about to occur and that they should tune in to the local news on Memorial Day.

Shaw had apparently become obsessed with the movie Fight Club.  One scene in that movie shows a Starbucks being blown up.
