The space shuttle Endeavour landed safety on Friday, having spent 16 days in space. Endeavour landed at 10:48am EDT at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The seven-member crew departed on July 15th after five previous launch attempts were scrubbed due to inclement weather and a few technical issues.
Once Endeavour finally made it to the International Space Station, the crew then proceeded to meet with the six current inhabitants of the station. This marked the first time that 13 astronauts were in orbit at the same time.
Left behind was crew member Timothy L. Kopra, as the shuttle picked up Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata who made the return voyage to Earth.
