SV Quest

The four American hostages that were being held by Somali pirates have been killed, according to various media reports.

There were over a dozen pirates aboard the S/V Quest, and some of them have also been killed and/or captured.

Hijacked last Friday, the S/V Quest was being taken toward the Somali coast. It was being followed by a U.S. Navy warship.  Gunshots were reportedly heard on board and the warship took action.

The Americans on board were Scott Adam and his wife, Jean Adam, of Marina del Rey, California and Phyllis Macay and Bob Riggle, who were both from Seattle.
