Polizzi partnered with SRG to launch a line of Snooki-related merchandise in 2010, but she filed lawsuit in October to end her deal with the company, alleging it didn’t fulfill its obligations to make her enough cash or branding partnerships.
Now, SRG has filed its own $7 million counter-lawsuit against Snooki and her management company, Neon Entertainment.
The lawsuit alleges that Snooki sabotaged the deal by negotiating with brands without SRG’s knowledge. They also claim that Snooki dragged her heels on the deals SRG brought to her, including branded school supplies, shoes, watches, and even lingerie.
A Snooki rep was quoted as saying, “Ms. Polizzi disputes SRG’s version of the facts and looks forward to her day in court.”
SRG attorney Robert J. Hantman is attempting to have the case moved from Ulster County, New York to Manhattan.
Jersey Shore, meanwhile, is currently gearing up for its fifth season, which is set to air in Spring 2012.
