According to aviation officials, a small plane was forced to land on the N.J. Turnpike this morning.
Officials say it was a low oil pressure indicator that forced the single-engine airplane to make an emergency landing on the New Jersey Turnpike.

The craft touched down on the northbound lanes in Cherry Hill just prior to before 7 a.m. EST.
FAA spokesperson Arlene Salac says the landing was a precautionary measure due to the indicator. Federal Aviation Administration officials are currently investigating the incident. Both people aboard the small plane were uninjured.
Metro spokesperson Christine Miller said the plane was hired by Metro Networks and was doing in-air traffic reporting for Philadelphia’s KYW-AM and KYW-TV.
A truck had to be used to remove the plane from the highway.
