This has got to be one of the most bizarre stories to hit the web today.
A judge has sentenced 29-year-old Skylar Deleon to death for killing an Arizona couple by tying an anchor to them and tossing them off of their yacht in Southern California.
Does that name sound familiar? Don’t worry, it didn’t to me either – until I learned that Skylar Deleon played one of the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” on television a couple of decades ago.

Today, Orange County Judge Frank F. Fasel imposed the sentence recommended by the jury that convicted Deleon of killing Tom and Jackie Hawks.
Prosecutors say that Skylar Deleon pretended to be interested in purchasing the couple’s yacht and later murdered them during a test cruise back in 2004.
According to prosecutors, Deleon and his then-wife Jennifer Henderson wiped the boat clean with bleach wipes in Newport Harbor.
The victims’ bodies were never recovered. Deleon was also found guilty in the 2003 killing of Jon Jarvi, an Anaheim man he met on a work furlough program.
