What can beat broadcasting your signal via satellite?
How about broadcasting it over the iPod, or even the iPhone? That exactly what Sirius XM is going to try next.
The satellite radio company that just last month almost filed for bankruptcy, views Apple’s iPhone as the perfect way to give its existing customers a new means of accessing content. As the automobile industry suffers along with the rest of America, Sirius XM needs to get creative.
It is expected that several music channels (Nashville!, KISS-XM, MIX, The Pink Channel and Rock@Random) will be made available for the Apple products as well as various sports and talk programs.
We don’t yet know then it will arrive in the App Store, but many expect it to be very soon.
