The American Idol Season 9 Top 8 Girls took the stage last night for a spot in the final 12.
Siobhan Magnus went retro and performed The Animals‘ “House Of The Rising Sun” as a surprise to her dad, whom she grew up watching sing the song while playing the piano.
Siobhan slowed it down a bit and managed to impress the judges.
Simon Cowell said Siobhan looked and sounded a bit old-fashioned and it was kind of “weird” and “boring.”
