Actress Sigourney Weaver (Alien, Ghostbusters, Working Girl) has filed for arbitration to obtain the domain name SigourneyWeaver.com.
The case will be heard by an arbitration panel from the National Arbitration Forum under the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
The domain name was registered back in 1999 but then changed hands in 2005. The 'whois' record for the domain name states ‘THIS DOMAIN NAME IS FOR SALE’.
It is currently parked at GoDaddy with ads for “Sigourney Weaver Pics”, movies, and TV shows.
