Police in Houston, Texas are investigating reports of a teacher literally beating a student senseless at Jamie’s House Charter School. The proof was captured in the shocking video below.
For almost a full minute, special education teacher Sherri Davis, 40, seems to punch and kick a 13-year-old male student while classmates look on, cheering. A student captured the whole ordeal using a cell phone video camera.
A spokesperson for the school said, “Obviously when we saw the video there was no doubt that the teacher would be terminated.”
The teacher was put on leave when the child’s mom notified school officials that her son came home with several bruises and a black eye. Davis was officially terminated on Monday.
Apparently, the student in question beat up on a handicapped student earlier in the day so the teacher decided to take matter into her own hands.
