TipsBase is a new social community focused around sharing tricks and tips on plethora of topics. It relies on user-generated content to populate the community site with interesting factoids and tips on how to do things. The team behind the site has likened it to a ‘YouTube for tips’.
TipsBase says it’s different from the derth of How-To sites and other networks where tips are shared by providing a central platform where registered users can share short, practical advice on just about any topic. There’s also a social component to it, where you can do traditional social networking things like befriend people, subscribe to their tips, comment on their articles, send messages and even rate content.
