Late Saturday night, SF Giants closer Brian Wilson seems to have tweeted that he was out until the wee hours clubbing in Arizona. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, these updates involved the aforementioned closer stating that he was having to deal with ‘overaggressive males’.
Wilson took the mound the next afternoon, having been handed a 4-1 lead, and blew the save. The Giants lost 5-4. Whoops.
Wilson later tweeted: “WARNING-do not take my twitters seriously, they are made up stories that reflect my humor.”
Hmm. OK.
Brian Wilson’s Twitter profile is now gone, leaving his 3,000+ followers abandoned.
