Send Your Friends a Bailout Check

With the country facing a horrific economic crisis, what better way to lighten the mood than by sending your friends their own (fake) bailout check?

Bank of Obama is a fun parody of the current economic situation.  The site allows you to send either virtual or “real” bailout checks from President Obama to your friends.

Enter the name of the person to whom you are sending a bailout check, the amount, a “memo” (mortgage, car loan, etc), and a personal note and you’re done.

You can then choose to deliver a virtual check to the recipient (pictured below), or for $2.99 you can have the Bank of Obama mail a physical fake check in the mail.

So now when you say “the check is in the mail”, you will be telling the truth – sort of…
