wikirankThere’s a nifty tool out there that you’re probably not using.

Wikirank is an analytical tool that tracks hot and up-and-coming topics on Wikipedia.  It does things like display the 10 most-read articles in the last thirty days and even lets you compare stats for up to four different topics.

Wikirank utilizes actual usage data from Wikipedia to give you more reliable information about what’s happening. Other nice features: you can graphically compare impressions on four different articles, embed graphs, view Wikipedia entries, and quickly search for related articles on sites like Google News, The New York Times, or Twitter.

Imaging the affiliate marketing firepower behind knowing which articles on Wikipedia have been the hottest over the last 30 days, especially given that Wikipedia is almost always among thetop 5 results on most Google searches.  Articles on Akai?  Grants?  Valerie Bertinelli?

With Wikirank, The world is your oyster.
