See the Phone Booth Aquarium

First it was a washing machine using Twitter…now it’s an aquarium phone booth.

The aquarium was designed by Benoit Deseille and Benedetto Bufalino and was a street installation forming part of the Lyon Light Festival in France.

The designers said about the piece “With the advent of the mobile telephone, telephone booths lie unused. We rediscover this glass cage transformed into an aquarium, full of exotically coloured fish; an invitation to escape and travel.“

There is just something very relaxing about fish, even when they are just swimming in a phone booth…
