Not to be outdone by the now-famous baby using Twitter from the womb, we’re proud to report that we have now achieved a new level of “dorkage”.
A bright and entrepreneurial young man has hacked a washing machine so that it “tweets” every time it finishes a load of laundry (presumably so he can get a direct reminder to hang the load out, or put it on to dry?).
The video below shows how the washing machine has been altered so that it can update Twitter. He does state in the video that he still has to press a button to start the machine (how 2008!). I’m almost starting to wonder what could possibly start Twittering next.
