Scott McIntyre Eliminated
After much debate among the judges, the search is over for Scott MacIntyre on American Idol.
The pianist from Arizona, who belted out Survivor’s “The Search is Over” in a last-ditch effort to be saved by the judges, got the least number of votes on Wednesday night.
The judges were split and, therefore, decided not to save MacIntyre from elimination.
Joining MacIntyre in the weekly bottom three were 22-year-old Anoop Desai of North Carolina, and 24-year-old Lil Rounds from Tennessee.
Ryan Seacrest said that a mere 30,000 votes determined the outcome this week. 34 million viewer votes were cast.
