An airplane carrying California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger had to make an emergency landing on Friday afternoon. The first person to break the news was the Governor himself, who shared the story via Twitter.
The plane was headed to Santa Monica airport from Mendota when suddenly the cockpit filled with smoke. The plane then needed to make an emergency landing at Van Nuys Airport.
Schwarzenegger tweeted, “A little adventure just now when my plane made an emergency landing. All’s OK, though.”
The problem with the aircraft has not yet been identified.
