Gmail has just introduced another cool addition to its suite of features: instant message translation.
Using Google Translate, Gmail will now translate any message you may receive in a different language into English. The new feature is available in 41 different languages.
Gmail will automatically suggest a language into which it will translate your message.
Jeff Chin, Google Translate's product manager, says that the new feature utilizes uses the “power of cloud computing” to scale this tool across all Gmail users without having to buy servers or write any new code.
He also states that the serice is able to quickly add new languages and will be able to adapt to users quickly and efficiently.
