The most recent issue of Vanity Fair features an extended cover honoring Farrah Fawcett and the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson.

Farrah’s story “Beautiful People, Ugly Choices” reveals an intricate relationship between the Fawcett and her partner, Ryan O’Neal, whom she was going to wed right before her death on June 25, 2009.

The pair initially got together in 1979, broke up in 1998, and then got back together again in 2001, when O’Neal had been diagnosed with leukemia. Together, they have a son, Redmond O’Neal, who is currently in jail as a result of his violating probation on drug charges.

A bizarre revelation comes to light when Ryan admits that he actually hit on his own daughter, Tatum, at Farrah’s funeral on June 30th.

Ryan said, “I had just put the casket in the hearse and I was watching it drive away when a beautiful blonde woman comes up and embraces me.” I said to her, ‘You have a drink on you? You have a car?’ She said, ‘Daddy, it’s me—Tatum!’ I was just trying to be funny with a strange Swedish woman, and it’s my daughter. It’s so sick.”

“That’s our relationship in a nutshell,” Tatum said when asked about it. “You make of it what you will.” She sighed. “It had been a few years since we’d seen each other, and he was always a ladies’ man, a bon vivant.”

Tatum is the daughter of Ryan and actress Joanna Cook Moore.

What’s worse, Ryan hitting on his daughter or the fact that he hit on a woman at his life partner’s funeral?  Hard to tell.
