In the clip below, watch a West Liberty-Salem runner help her collapsed Arlington competitor cross the finish line.
The touching moment took place when the West Liberty-Salem runner was running last during the DIII 3200 Meter Race at Ohio’s 2012 State Track Meet and noticed her competitor rapidly losing steam.
She quickly scooped up her fallen comrade, and they crossed the finish line together as the crowd cheered them on.
