Minor league baseball clubs often use promotional gimmicks draw the masses into their ballparks.
The Houston Astros’ AAA Round Rock Express team went with a rather unique one. They opted to let “Rojo Johnson” (Will Ferrell in disguise) pitch.
Johnson appearing in the 7th inning. The Venezuelan pitching legend came to the pitcher’s mound with a bag of beer cans and donning a fake mustache and some gold chains.
Rojo threw one pitch behind the batter and got ejected. The batter then chased him around the diamond.
