Ex-UFC fighter and current Bellator lightweight Roger Huerta got involved in a bloody street fight in Austin, Texas over the weekend, beating the crap out a man who reportedly sucker punched a woman.
On Saturday night, Huerta, 27, confronted the man for knocking a woman to the ground with a punch to the head. The fighter then leaves the man beaten, lying on the ground.
Several people rush in to assist the bloodied man on the ground, who eventually manages to get up, as Huerta walks away. A few of the people in the video below seem to recognize him as a former UFC fighter.
As of yet, no charges have been filed against Huerta.
Huerta’s manager simply says, “I have not spoken to Roger yet about this incident, but I can say that it’s in his nature to be very protective of women.”
UFC President Dana White says he believes the “victim” deserved the beat-down because it isn’t right to hit a woman.
Dana says, “In no way do I condone street fighting, but when a guy puts his hands on a woman he deserves to be knocked the f–k out. Good for Roger.”
