Rip Torn Arrested (MUGSHOT)

Rip Torn is not going quietly into the night.

The Emmy-winning actor was arrested on Saturday after allegedly breaking into a bank in Connecticut, where he currently resides.

In what is being called an alcohol-induced bank heist, the official police statement states that authorities responded to an alarm at 9:40 p.m. last night where they found Torn "with a loaded revolver, and was highly intoxicated."

Torn, 78, was hit with several charges, including carrying a firearm while intoxicated, carrying a handgun without a permit, first-degree criminal trespassing, first-degree burglary, and third-degree criminal mischief.

The "Dodgeball" and "Men in Black" actor has had several run-ins with the law in the last couple of years. In 2004, he had a drunk driving charge against him dismissed and, in 2007, he entered a guilty plea of being "ability impaired" while operating a motor vehicle.

Rip Torn is currently being held on $100,000 bond and he will appear in court on Monday, February 1st.
