Kathy Griffin F Bomb

UPDATE: CNN has issued an apology for the incident.

Whoops! OMG, here comes a fine for CNN from the FCC ASAP! Here’s the 411…

Kathy Griffin rang in the New Year dropping a live F-Bomb during CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast with anchor Anderson Cooper on Thursday night.

Just before the clock struck midnight, Griffin and Cooper were reminiscing about 2009′s top news stories, including the infamous Balloon Boy scandal surrounding Richard Heene, who created a hoax where his son, Falcon Heene, had been “accidentally” whisked away in a homemade helium balloon.

“Fal…Fu__ing? Falcon? How do you say it?” Griffin asked during the broadcast, while tripping over the boy’s name.

Cooper then responded, “You’re terrible.  Really terrible.”

Kathy Griffin had been warned not to curse on TV.  D’oh!
