The ad, which was uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday, now has more “dislikes” than the infamous Rebecca Black “Friday” video.
Black’s so-bad-it’s-funny music video has accumulated about 260,000 “dislikes” since it was uploaded to the popular video sharing site.
Perry’s ad has racked up over 435,000 “dislikes” in just three days!
Other than bringing up the always sensitive topic of gays serving in the military, Perry seems to have forgotten the cardinal rule of keeping church and state separate.
What do you think of the ad? Transcript below.
I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a Christian, but you don’t need to be in the pew every Sunday to know there’s something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can’t openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school.
As President, I’ll end Obama’s war on religion. And I’ll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage.
Faith made America strong. It can make her strong again.
I’m Rick Perry and I approve this message.
