Survivor winner Richard Hatch was arrested (again) by police on Tuesday, mere hours after he did an interview on NBC’s Today Show.
Hatch was taken into police custody at his sister’s residence in Rhode Island, where he was serving out the rest of his term for tax evasion under house arrest.
Hatch was reportedly put back into custody due to the fact that he violated the terms of his house arrest agreement by doing the interview on NBC.
Wednesday on Today, however, Hatch’s sister Kristin stated that Richard Hatch had gotten the okay to do the interview, and Matt Lauer wondered aloud if, in fact, Hatch had been re-arrested because of what he SAID during the interview, not for doing the interview itself.
In that interview, Richard Hatch informed Matt Lauer that he thinks he was sent to prison because of his sexual preference.
