Just one day after rumors of their split-up were denied, a new report claims that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have filed separation papers.

The papers establish a legal separation with joint custody of their six children, according to The Sunday Times in London.

“Brangelina” have been a couple since shooting the movie “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” together in 2005.

They reportedly have agreed that the children will live with Jolie.  The pair are not legally married, as they have publicly said that they would not be wed until gay couples were also allowed to get married.

Regardless, the paperwork was filed with an L.A. attorney this month to foster a hassle-free separation.

They each will keep all of the money they have earned, which could easily eclipse $100 million apiece.

Pitt, 46, will be granted full access to their three biological children, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne.  He will also have access to their three adopted children, Maddox, who is from Cambodia, Zahara, who is from Ethiopia, and Pax, who is from Vietnam.  All of their children have the surname Jolie-Pitt.

Pitt and Jolie reportedly had one final meltdown at the Alto restaurant in New York on January 6.  Many believe that Brad organized the dinner in order to persuade Angelina, 34, to seek psychiatric help.

It is believed that Jolie has had bouts with clinical depression ever since her mother passed away from ovarian cancer three years ago.  Some reports indicate that she even attempted to commit suicide.

After dinner that night, Brangelina admitted that their relationship was done and that they should try to make for a smooth transition for their kids.

Interestingly, Pitt and his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, 40, were seen backstage together at the Haiti telethon in L.A. this past Friday while Angelina was in New York promoting her next film, “Salt”.
