For wrestling fans, UFC 100 was a flashback in many ways. We got to see former WWE wrestler Brock Lesnar once again taking on the role of the “heel”, and we also got to see former “Diva” Rena Sablel Mero cheer on Lesnar, her husband.
Rena Sable Mero and Brock Lesnar have been a couple since 2004. The two met while Lesnar was in the WWE. In those days, Sable had just divorced wrestler Marc Mero. It was anything but a Cinderella story, however. Sable and Lesnar were engaged in 2004, broke things off in 2005, and then finally got hitched in 2006.
Rena Sable Mero still works as a model as well as an actress. She was featured on the cover of Playboy magazine back in 1999. The issue was an instant hit…it was one of the best-selling issues in the magazine’s history.
Sable is 41 while Lesnar is just 32, but age doesn’t seem to matter.
After his win last night over Frank Mir at UFC 100, Lesnar made a pretty crude comment about his spouse.
“Hell, I may even get on top of my wife tonight,” Lesnar said as Rena Sable Mero laughed. “See y’all later.”
