Regis Philbin Last ShowToday, legendary TV host Regis Philbin said goodbye, leaving his morning show amid much fanfare.

In attendance for the big event were the likes of Donald Trump, Katie Couric, Tony Danza, Disney CEO Robert Iger, Frank Gifford and wife Kathie Lee Gifford, and Diane Sawyer.

“Tony Danza’s the biggest name here!” Regis joked, as Kelly Ripa tried to point out all the celebrities in the crowd. At that point, Regis said, “I feel okay, I feel pretty good.”

Philbin, 80, clearly loved every minute of his last day at work, saying he felt he had had “some success” in television and that looking back, he really enjoyed it.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg gave Regis the key to the city and ABC revealed it has installed a plaque honoring Philbin on the outside of its Manhattan studio.

The producers also wrote him a farewell song built on the premise that he has spent 995,600 minutes on television.

We’ll miss you, Regis!
