Mr. October himself, Reggie Jackson, will host a new radio show throughout the baseball playoffs.
Reggie Jackson will co-host the show “October Nights” on Sirius XM Radio. The show will air every Tuesday for six weeks beginning on October 6th.
Jackson will take phone calls from listeners alongside Bill Pidto for the two-hour satellite radio broadcast.
The Hall of Famer, who was born in 1946, also is the subject of a book called ‘Sixty Feet Six Inches’ with Bob Gibson in which they talk a little baseball.
According to Bill Gallo, “this book is an entertaining ‘conversation’ between Bob Gibson and Reggie Jackson, both Hall of Famers, and they tell you about how the game is really played. All the bits and pieces of the game known only by those who spent a good part of their lives in baseball are here for you to peruse . . . well, to learn, really.”
Jackson played for five World Series champions in his baseball career.
