Videos of the RCA Dome Implosion in Indiana this morning are flooding YouTube at this moment, racking up an incredible amount of hits in a very short period of time.
Workers covered nearby buildings and a local station placed a camera inside the stadium to capture the event as it happened (how they managed to keep the camera in tact, I don’t know).
“The intent is not to reduce it to a small pile, but to make it reachable with the existing construction equipment we’re using,” said Tom Scheele, vice president of Shiel Sexton.
These types of blasts are incredibly impressive. You can watch footage of the implosion below. It’s truly something to behold…
