A special teams coach for the Dallas Cowboys fractured his back and more than 10 other people were hurt on Saturday when near-hurricane-strength winds ripped the roof off of the team’s practice facility during minicamp.
One meteorologist says it was a miracle that more people weren’t injured when a micro-burst collapsed the Dallas Cowboys practice bubble in Irving.
According to various reports, lights began flickering before the roof collapsed, prompting those present to exit the facility moments before the roof came down. The early evacuation saved lives. Had the players still been practicing, dozens may have been killed.
