Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka Cottle have been arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Los Angeles deputies pulled the couple over on Sunset Boulevard around 10 p.m. last night. Officers say they smelled marijuana.
Upon searching the vehicle, police found a controlled substance. Sources indicate that it wasn’t cocaine, but rather something along the lines of methamphetamines and ecstasy.
The two had just been married on July 30 in Miami, and T.I. (A.K.A. Clifford Harris, Jr.) is currently on probation after serving a seven-month prison term on weapons charges.
T.I. and his wife were booked on felony possession of a controlled substance. Bail has been set at $10,000.
