Popular Richmond, Virginia-area DJ “DJ Peachez” (born Terika Grooms) passed away suddenly on Wednesday following a “very short illness,” according to radio station Power 92.1.
In a brief web post, the station says:
It is with a heavy, heavy heart that we tell you that our own DJ Peachez passed away today after a very short illness. She has been with iPower 921 since 2006 and will always be remembered as an inspiration to young women who aspire to be on air DJ’s and Mixers. Terika Grooms aka DJ Peachez was a graduate of James Madison University and she truly loved being a DJ.
No further details have been released regarding DJ Peachez’s illness nor has anyone yet revealed her cause of death.
